- Have focus and pay attention to detail.
- The ability to work weekends (Saturdays, 8am – Noon).
- Punctuality, and have good hand eye coordination.
- The ability to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand and respond to questions, instructions, signs, signals and safety training.
- Possess a clear Criminal Record Check & Child Abuse Registry Check
- Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers and management
- Exhibit the ability to distinguish between various recyclable materials.
- Be a self starter and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Physically demanding
- Standing for long periods of time
- Reaching, Bending, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting & carrying
- Handling heavy loads up to 50lbs
- Fast Paced Environment
- Contains odours
- Work in various weather conditions
- Exposure to dust, noise, heat, cold and fumes found in a shop environment.
- Exposure to residential and commercial waste and recycling
- Minimum Wage to start, raises are given once work is proven.
- Part-time / Full-time / Casual
