Bottle drives are a great way to raise money!

Did you know that the average bottle drive raises between $500 and $1500 per drive.  It is a great way to raise money for any group.  Is your organization thinking about having a bottle drive?
We are now taking bookings for our 2017 Bottle Drive season!

If you are planning a bottle drive for your organization, please give us a call,  we will need to know:
What date
 you are having the bottle drive?
What date you will be bringing your bottles to us?
Which organization you are fundraising for?
Which area are you hosting your drive in?
A contact name and phone number.
We can guide you in easier sorting.
All bottle drives MUST be counted prior to arriving at the bottle depot.
All bottle drives MUST have ALL caps removed.
If you are uncertain how to count the bottles please come see us before having the bottle drive, we will happily guide you in the easiest and most efficient way of sorting your bottles.
If you are advertising your bottle drive on Facebook, please tag us, and if we have the chance we will share your post too!

Please contact:
Paper Chase Bottle Exchange Ltd.
at (902) 742-9747
at least 1 week before you are having your bottle drive!

Please Remove Your Bottle Caps...

4/13/2016

**UPDATE**Effective immediately, CAPS CAN BE LEFT ON ALL CONTAINERS!

We have been seeing a growing number of bottles with the covers still on them... did you know that ALL covers MUST be removed prior to bringing your bottles in and receiving your refund?
This is a friendly reminder to please remove all caps before coming into the depot.
Picture
When your caps are left on, it hinders our means of operations;
  • it causes your visit with us, to last longer than you may wish,  as you will be asked to remove them
  • it causes the customers next in line to wait longer than expected while your caps are being removed;
  • it causes us to slow down our counting because we also take them off;
  • it can cause your bottles to be refused at the door until all covers are removed;
  • we do not ship any materials with covers on, as it poses a safety risk as many products are compressed after they leave us, and serious injury can happen to those processing your refundables.
So please remove all caps, and dispose of them prior to coming in to the depot.
Thank you!

The owners and staff of Paper Chase Bottle Exchange Ltd. are so proud of our community and the support shown for the Kinsmen Tabs for Wheel Chairs, this weekend the owners Peter & Dorothy brought 353 lbs of pop can tabs, or just over 1/2 of a million tabs to the Sackville Kinsmen Club!
We received donations from various members of the community, including The Shanty Cafe and as far away as Carl Thompson (delivered to us by Cheryl Burchell) of Shelburne.
This article written by Tina Comeau for the Yarmouth Vanguard was printed when a community member brought 250, 000 tabs in to us, the first week of January 2016:
